A Singaporean businessman was denied entrance to Myanmar after failing to meet requirements for an on-arrival visa on 20 July, The Voice Weekly reported.
His application for visa on arrival was denied because he could not show the recommendation or the invitation letter from the local company which invited him, a friend close to him told to the local weekly.
He also argued that the so-called on-arrival visa is not such type at all.
According to tourist guides, there are some tourists who were denied the visa on arrival as well.
The issuance of on-arrival visa for ASEAN and some European countries resumed in Myanmar since 11 June.
