MYANMAR SIGNS TOURISM AID DEAL WITH HANNS SIEDEL FOUNDATION

Myanmar Ministry of Hotels and Tourism signed a memorandum of understanding with German-based Hanns Seidel Foundation for development of responsible tourism in Myanmar, the ministry’s Facebook said.

Director-General of Hotels and Tourism Directorate Aung Zaw Win and Resident Representative of the foundation Mr Achim Munz signed the deal at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw, the administrative seat of Myanmar on May 30.

The foundation would support the ministry in organizing conferences and seminars for tourism development of the country.

The signing ceremony was also attended by tourism minister Htay Aung and German ambassador Mr Christian Ludwig Weber Lortsch.
