French cosmetics giant L’Oreal is preparing to set a country office in
Myanmar to extend its global empire, Eleven Media Group reported,
citing Marketing Manager of La Source Trading Dr Daw Khin May Lin.
L’Oreal Paris Headquarters has intended to incorporate L’Oreal Myanmar
Ltd incoming year, according to the global cosmetics brand’s local
partner La Source Trading.
“Customers in Myanmar will be profited from fresher and more authentic
L’Oreal cosmetics through its direct investment in Myanmar,” the
marketing manager is quoted as saying by EMG.
L’Oreal will continue to work with its local distribution partner La
Source Trading and aims at generating job opportunities for the people
of the impoverished country, said a press release of the French
L’Oreal Asian Pacific Director Jochen Zaumsel recently visited Myanmar
and studied the nature of Myanmar market to start its direct
investments in the country in which they started to distribute their
products since earlier 1990s.
The world largest cosmetics company is exporting 27 products to more
than 130 world countries.
