JAPAN TO HELP MYANMAR LINK YANGON AND NAY PYI TAW IN ONE HOUR

Japan will aid Myanmar to operate an one-hour express train between Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw, said rail transportation minister U Aung Min.

Popular News reported that the Japanese company has offered Myanmar ministry to invest in upgrading railroads.

“The train could travel 300 kilometers per hour,” the minister told to Popular, saying the new railroad is needed for the train.

The Japanese government has also waived a considerable amount of debts of Myanmar recently.
