INTER-FAITH LEADERS PRAY FOR PEACE

Inter-faith leaders prayed Thursday for peace at YMCA Hall in Yangon amid spreading sectarian violence.

The violence started from the central Myanmar town Meiktila was spread through western part of Back region.

Seven towns have been put under curfew as the government has tighten security across the country.

Buddhist monks, Islamic religious leaders, Christian religious leaders and Hindu religious leaders joined the prayer.
